Ajs Construction (Pty) Ltd founded by Mr Adriaan Willemse in Paarl, Cape Winelands, we opened our doors in 2021. We started as a humble backyard cleaning company. Adriaan attended all matters, and has grown to become a well known leader in the local industry.

As the company grew, we expanded our work force to an excellent team with specialist expertise. Since then we’ve evolved from a simple cleaning company to also offering construction and maintenance services. For the past few years, we are known for our superior quality workmanship. Our focus is always on delivering exceptional results for our clients, but our commitment goes beyond construction itself. It’s about building communities and supporting the meaningful investments our clients make across the Western Cape.

Based on what I witnessed they seemed to have done a very very very! good job. Their task was to ensure the ridges of very steep (45 degrees) asbestos slate roofs, are waterproof. I appreciated their transparency and honestly when they provided feedback on their progress. They also provided honest feedback in terms of the challenges they encountered and how they had to make adjustments to their standard procedure, e.g. honest feedback was provided on how the waterproofing had to be modified because of the presence of solar panels close in the way where the waterproofing had to be done. Whenever I was not comfortable with the way they did things, they did hesitate to make the necessary modifications until I was satisfied; they went well out of their way in this regard. During the final stages of project completion they continually asked me whether I was satisfied with the work and whether there was anything additional they should do; I really appreciated that.
I have good reason to believe the ridges of the roofs are now well waterproofed and that it will last for a good while to come. Based on this I shall certainly consider to make use of their services for similar tasks in the future.
